vs. Cathedral

Tough competition last week especially against the very tall, talented team from Cathedral. Players improve by playing against tough competition and I was very impressed by our teams rising to the occassion. A 0-5 victory to Cathedral but some amazing rallies and close games and I was very proud of our team. Torrey Pines on Thursday defeated us narrowly 3-2 and again I saw some amazing rallies and fierce competition. I would like all of our teams to focus on getting as much information about our opponents in the first 5 points of a match and then concentrate on causing chaos to the other team by serving with purpose, hitting specific targets on court, and basically not allowing the other team to dictate play. We have a very important match on Thursday against La Jolla. It will determine our seed for playoffs which start next week. Let's challenge ourself to play every point to win! Let's go!
